چکیده
Masonry walls exhibit low tensile strength and high material heterogeneity, which makes them especially vulnerable against cyclic loading conditions, such as those typical in earthquakes. This paper presents the experimental results obtained from tests on three masonry reinforced with textile mortar (TRM) materials subjected to in-plane loading. These full-scale were tested LARGE laboratory at University of Alicante (Alicante, Spain). The had been built using a traditional construction technique, solid clay bricks layered lime mortar. One specimen was damaged by subsequently strengthened vertical layer TRM an overlapping 200 mm. It then again until failure second test.
